Android is a mobile operating system initially developed by Android Inc., a firm purchased by Google in 2005. In 2007 Google founded a comrade of several companies under Open Handset Alliance. Their goal was is to develop open standards for mobile devices. On the same day, the Open Handset Alliance also unveiled their first product, Android, a mobile device platform built on the Linux kernel version 2.6.Unit sales for android OS smart phone devices rated first among all Smart phone OS devices sold in the U.S. in the second and third one fourth of 2010, with a third one fourth business of 43.6%.
